Aim trainer skill does not in any way directly translate to skill in shooters. Shooting at targets in a clearly lit environment with no other visual or audio stimulus is an entirely different beast than shooting at moving players in a noisy (both visually and audibly) environment.

Simply having good aim does not mean you can parse what you see in-game so fast as to take advantage of that speed you have while aim training.

Okay, getting in to aim training is a bit confusing because of how bad the first time experience is in these programs. If you can dedicate 35 minutes a day twice a week (e.g. Tuesday Saturday) then your best option imo is the Viscose benchmarks (which uses Kovaaks), my favorite way of tracking these is https://www.evxl.app/ just put your steam profile url or vanity url and click on viscose. You'll see a long list of scenarios but notice how they are categorized by muscle group: arm, wrist, fingertip. try to focus on using just those in those scenarios. This categorization of muscle groups is why I like this benchmark the best.

Even with a mouse that has sensitivity switch settings build in there is no gradual sensitivity control. You can only change the sensitivity by hand by pressing a button and it is not gradual, it is in more than average jumps. That gif / the webm I just saw of this clip in the other thread are deceptively edited to cut out their overshoot on this and then end to make it look like they just snapped to the next guy before sprint canceling. The other section of the clip, the part that makes it look like they snapped onto someone through a rock is (and humor me for a sentence or two) just dumb luck. What I mean by that is actually twofold: they didn't actually aim at a player when doing that, and this isn't actually uncommon for how target switcher aim training people play (the flicking and pre-firing in the new direction).

When they flick left onto the rock they overshoot the players and aim left of the objective indicator, even after aiming slightly to the right of the marker as they move around the rock they're still off target until coming around the rock. Less than a second passed between the flick and moving past the rock, we see the players on the right side of the objective marker. Not enough time between the flick and seeing past the rock for the players to have moved far enough to have been on the left before, and changing left-right relative to a stationary object would require moving at least 90 degrees around (object center to player relative) which also didn't happen.

I'll have to mention too, that the overshoot looks very unnatural. It mostly happens up close where you'd expect your aim to be locked in, especially with stationary targets. But when shooting and Target switching on tiny distant pin point targets? Zero overshoot. Perfect robot accuracy and speed.
It's obvious toggling, probably manually flicking then letting aimbot carry the aim back when he starts shooting. At range, not even seeing enemies he just holds it down and lets Jesus take the wheel.
As somebody who has actually practiced this, there's also an unnatural cadence in shooting. There are multiple target switches where you'd want to keep shooting, but he doesn't, and several times where he keeps firing even though it doesn't make sense.

If you can mentally switch between hyperfocusing on your aim and relaxed play it helps a lot. BF4 is made with duct tape and fairy dust, so the game's netcode stops predicting your position when you're airborne behind a wall. What happens is that when you jump around an indestructible corner like that, you're completely invisible on the other players screens. Poor game sense and good aim is something I actually see quite often. When you look at professional players who compete, do you really think they've got the best aim on the entire planet? Two important components of aiming in a videogame that are talked about often are snapping and tracking. The truth is that those two skills are not humanly achievable at a consistant rate in any competitive game that exists today. Even pro players who dont cheat snap right on target less than 30% of the time. The rest of the time there are small adjustments that are being made in the few milliseconds after the snapping. Somwtimes those imprecise snaps are corrected by the subsequent tracking of the target that takes place. Oftentimes they are corrected by sheer luck of your hand twitching for repositioning, by the movements you do with wasd or by the target itself moving right into your crosshair. It’s very easy to spot a blatant cheater, their perfect snapping rate is around 70%. They can adjust the perfect snapping rate in cheats worth their while. But they always set it around 70% because if they did set it any lower it wouldnt give them an advantage big enough over real good players to compensate for their complete lack of the other skills that make up a good player like good placement, good equipment utilization, good coms, good tactics etc.

From what I've seen, that is not the case. I've watched 2-3 hours of his VODs, and his aim seems to be pretty good if I'm honest. No more jokes, his aim is not shit, but it's nothing mind blowing either. His aims seems to be solid allround. When he was aiming at targets from a distance, I noticed nothing insane. No amazing accuracy from a distance at all.

1 thing I will say regarding what you said about aiming up close and from a distance, and that is that I've noticed that I'm actually more accurate when I'm shooting targets further than up close. This could have something to do with me playing on a very low sensitivity, making it harder to track targets up close, but easily track targets from a distance. If he plays on a low sens, that could explain why. And I'm pretty sure he does, because he was moving his entire arm across the mouse pad from what I've seen.

Call of Duty and Warzone are extremely good and relevant examples of that. There is an entire MNK vs controller aim assist debate going on there since crossplay was introduced back in 2019. MNK players always complain about aim assist UP CLOSE. And it's up close where controller player almost always shit on MNK players, because it's extremely hard to accurately track up close for MNK players. But from a distance, that's where MNK players have the advantage.
