I will take this opportunity to glaze the humble Ranger Patrol Armor. I like what it represents.
It presents the NCR as what it is, a new society in a new world. There is obvious inspiration from the US military combat armor but it is not scavenged, it is made by hand, fresh, new. It is adjusted to the realities of post-nuclear America. The khaki and dark brown tones fitting the desert environment, the large water backpack on the back. Stirrups on the shoes to evoke American traditions of old. The scarf tied around the neck that can be unfolded and used to cover the face.
It's a shame it is so overshadowed by the gear used by the Veteran Rangers.
