Go to the Registry Editor and set a 64MB HMB cache allocation limit.
>1. Open Start Menu, type Regedit to enter the Registry Editor.
>2. Find "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorPort key"
>3. If you don't see a HmbAllocationPolicy DWORD value, right-click in the right-hand pane, select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, and name it HmbAllocationPolicy
>4. Double-click the HmbAllocationPolicy DWORD value.
>5. Set DWORD to 0 or 2 (hexadecimal): 0 disables HMB entirely, while 2 sets it to the default 64MB value.

Setting the cache limit to 64MB should be safe enough, according to that JP Twitter poster.
