I think what killed saturday morning cartoons was them being in the morning. you have to wake up and pray you catch the show you like, and then get bombarded with more ads then show. and it sucked ass because those morning shows were sometimes better than some of the regular programming on the actual cartoon channels, but you couldn't even watch them. You're giving kids 52 days a year to catch an episode, which is assuming they have control of the tv and their own schedule. And if it's a big show there won't even be reruns. dumb af model.
