I don’t even want to think about the number of jobs I’ve been rejected from over the years after the interview stage. My favorite was one that was offered to me immediately after an aptitude test. The person I was talking with took me down the hall to HR to begin the hiring process but they weren’t there. I was told they’d contact me the next day. When I hadn’t heard anything in three days I called and was told they were going in a different direction and then sent me a rejection letter. Lol
