Mass Effect, Cyberpunk, Witcher 3, GOW etc. are VIDEOGAMES first, the appeal is the world, gameplay, characters and story. The "sex scenes" are either tacked on, or involve actual romance and rapport which is a staple in RPGs wince BG2. When people say "just watch porn" it means that the selling point is sexual titilation, and for these games, it is not.
Stellar Blade exists only as a vehicle for the lowest brow type of fanservice. That's the reason it was made, the reason everyone bought it, and everyone knows it. If you removed the gachaslop collabs, replaced the high poly gookette doll models with anything else, like less sexualized women, nonhuman robots or dudes, it would have had to stand on its bootleg Nier story, mediocre gameplay and soundtrack, and would have flopped just like Khazan. A far better game with far better gameplay that was ignored by the chinkcel crowd for a lack of coom and was pressured by Tencent to add a female MC mode for them, because cooming is the only thing they want from games in their country that gives you life in prison for sharing hentai.
