The major melee classes are Barbarian, Paladin and Rogue, but you probably know that already. Monk and Cleric are there too, and they might edgy and fun, I was thinking Death Domain Cleric, considering you said you played at release and this is one of the new classes. Necromancer is there too, but I don't know..maybe a dip in Fighter as well to spice things up. pic related is a drow but duergar works really well too, but thats really up to you
