I don't think the collab story was that bad actually. Yeah the silent movie was obnoxiously long but there's some good stuff that should've even been in the main story. Mikhail getting to say goodbye to Pom Pom was great, Saber's backstory was actually able to be used to give TB characterization and that even connected to the start of the game when Kafka told TB to not make choices they'll regret. And they even managed to sneak a few deliverance lines info for people caught up to the story

As far as events go if you add the combat event the only one on par with this is Aetherium Wars but that came in a patch that didn't even have a MSQ
