because of how the drio rates work, the real guaranteed S is at 80. so to guarantee any character you need 160
you get 8 residual signals per A rank angent/w-engine (and 40 residual signals for S rank), and every 20 residual signals give you 1 roll
in 160 rolls you will get 1 S rank and up to 16 A ranks. that adds up to 40+8*16= 168 resigual signals or 8 rolls (at minimum, you will get luckier)
so really, you need around 150 rolls
also, whenever a new version drops, we get 10 limited rolls
so you need 140
but also, the events themselves give poly, which i have not calculated the average amount of, but let's say around 135 would be enough to guarantee any S rank
(this calculation does not factor in fading signals, as the shop might not be reset during the desired banner, but if it did, then that would net you another 5 limited rolls)
daily errands give 60 poly a day *20 = 1,200 (each banner is 21 days)
SD resets once every 14 days, so you will get to do at least 1, that's 720 poly if you get all Ss. new total = 1,920
DA resets every 14 days, at 6 stars that's another 300 poly. new total = 2,220
the daily website checkin gives 60 poly over 31 days. so you can expect to get 40 of those.
the newstand / ashoo pays out 5 times in 30 days. let's say you get 3 of those at the lowest possible payout of 20 poly. new total = 2,320/160 = 14.5 rolls
so you need to enter the desired banner with around 120 rolls to guarantee getting it
