Did you ever travel to a particular attraction or place that made you think it wasn't worth going? I'm currently debating whether to see one of Tokyo's most famous shrines (Senso-ji) and part of me feels like I must see it since I'm there, but part of me also feels like I'll wish I had gone somewhere else. I'm curious to hear your thoughts and whether you've felt this yourself (after having visited the place that is). I'm not going until fall next year so I'm planning ahead.

What america was really afraid of after the iron certain went down was European expertise with russian ressources. They spend billions over the last 40 years to make sure that europe and russia didnt get close to each other.
All russia had to do was cuddling up to the EU and play nice. We could have cut america completely out of international trade by now. We could have silk road cargo train road from china to Europe cutting out most shipping lanes to do trade within eurasia also cutting out shitholes like Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Russia could charge massive fees to keep those rail tracks in check and let people do trade within their country. They could sell oil and gas to every side And had bigger softpower because most eastern european countries probably still had russian in school by now. America would be so small in comparison to a EU-Russia-China axis. Literally could be "defeated" by now by beeing made unimportant.
But no they are so pitty and so self loathing that they would rather be kings of rubbles and ruines that to cherish the idear of beeing part of something bigger. And this has been the case throughout their entire history. Truely subhumans - a term that really fits to them it really boggles my mind how dumb they are.
