Lucifer = Promethus
God = Greek gods
The word "Satan" originaly meant adversary. Prometheus was an adversary to greek Gods so Lucifer is an enemy of God.

Prometheus gifted humanity fire that he stole from the gods this is "Techne" the skill of arts and crafts or just practical application of knowledge. In the bible the serpet tells us the fruit of knowledge which was forbidden by God. Christian God and Greek gods wanted to keep us in the "Matrix" and to keep us weak and dependant on the Gods. But Prometheus the trickster that he is gave us the power to think (Evolution?) and that some day we will rival the Gods in terms of power.

Humanity was stopped from evolving even further and eating the fruit of tree of life which would allow us to (probably?) gain similar powers to Gods or demi-gods.
Technological Singularity is the Tree of life and we need to eat its fruits.
