same thing. What I meant is spend the effort (on something) and as a result get a gf and a great career on the side. Like, you can grind for 16 hours a day playing a game, or 2 hours a day on some wallstreet job and end up with stability and respect from society at 200k a year. Otherwise you can get shit on as a "pro," make $30k a year, get no respect, and also have no future (and no gf)
