Here's the Genshin timeline, simplified by me:
Earliest recorded history of Teyvat had Nibelung ruling over together with his other 7 dragon sovereigns. He created the 3 moons and fragments from them were left on the ground, becoming Nod Krai in the future. A space voyager came by and told him to stop wasting time on Teyvat and go along with her on a journey to see the universe. He refused. Then came Phanes (1st descender) with his 4 Shades and took control over his planet. Dragons retreated underground and underwater while Nibelung fucked off into the void. Afterwards, Phanes put 3 goddesses on those 3 moons and made the humans and angels (who acted as emissaries like in the bible). The voyager returned (2nd descender) and saw how Teyvat was different now, she put her consciousness into the mind of a Teyvat boy and told an Angel (the first one actually) the truth. This angel then rebelled against her God and instilled the other angels to do the same, as well as the 3 moon goddesses. Chaos ignited and caused their orbit to align which destroyed 2 of the moons, with only 1 surviving, now secluded. Seeing this shit, Phanes punished the angels and cursed them to turn into Seelies if they ever love someone. The voyager and the Seelie had their mind wiped, with the voyager coming to create Kaenri'ah one day in the future. Nibelung returns (3rd descender) with abyssal power to take revenge on Phanes. He loses again and this time his remains are turned into Gnoses. Phanes also turned the world's energy (phlogiston) into the 7 elemental powers, appointing 7 Archons to cuck the 7 dragon sovereigns from governing that power and to help keep the humans in check, then he gives those 7 Gnoses to them. Now in current day, Columbina is the last Seelie (which is why she has her eyes covered, so she won't lay eyes on someone she might fall in love with) and she might become a new moon goddess, while Tsaritsa wants to collect the 7 gnoses to revive Nibelung.
