I think it could be fun, if nothing else. Orihime would be less popular, but maybe at most by half what it currently is. Maybe even her haters would talk more about her personality.
For Rukia, she'd definitely be an even more obvious pick for Ichigo and we'd have all the casual jockbro viewers be Ichiruki as a result. It would be fun to have her border on being a proper shortstack and to be the recipient of more "sexual harassment jokes." I think one of the only times is when she steps on Kon and he looks up her skirt (lucky bastard).
