That scene was perfect. In fact, it was the best scene in the entire movie. It was exactly what a Hollywood version of the Daytona 24 hours SHOULD be. It got all the cars and lighting and sound and scenery absolutely perfect (for a movie) with just enough exaggeration in the driving to be over the top but believable (and frankly not even as insane as it can be sometimes, pic related). Throw in the fireworks exploding too low, the helicopter flying to low, sprinkle on a little Zep and,
>chef's kiss.
Dayton is the perfect race for that scene since the whole thing is a bit "extra" anyway. I also thought that Diff did a good job being his usual goofy goober self and I always listen to the RLM broadcast.
Like Singapore bro said, we need an entire movie of that.
