>exec project funding board
>controls approval for literally all projects. Fortune 300 company spread across multiple states.
>make announcement at the top that there's 75 projects to go through today
>schedule has 5-15 minutes per project depending on complexity
>start with a project that's been up for discussion multiple times in the past
>oops some of the board was on vacation last time and none of them speak to each other
>45min later still rehashing the last meeting
>74 projects to go...
I hate corporate bottlenecks so fucking much. Why have this meeting once a week when there's this crazy backlog???? Do this shit 2-3 times per week and maybe even have private specialty meetings for the ones that keep getting rejected. JUST LIKE YOu REQUIRE US TO SUBMIT ALL THIS PAPERWORK AND YOU DONT EVEN READ IT AND THE "PRESENTATION" IS JUST READING THE SUBMISSION FORM OUTLOUD

Also every fucking member of this dozen person committee starts with "oh I just had a few minor comments, I don't want to hold things up" then spends 20min on the the word "building" in the title. There's a while process where they're supposed to review project documents beforehand and only spend time on actual points worth discussing in the meeting. AND THE PROJECT JUST GOT CONDITIONAL APPROVAL TO MAKE CHANGES AND REPRESENT NEXT WEEK AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH
