I think perhaps what gays dont realize is this is a reaction to the trans thing. They dont really make a distinction between the two because trans and gays both represent publically as allies. Honestly I wouldnt be concerned. US citizens have much more to legitimately worry about right now. I used to keep pets often. Just small ones. Often I would befriend mice, birds. And it was hard enough without the grim reaper breathing down my neck.
