Because there’s things you don’t see about her design unless you own the artbook or got the Collector Edition of the game. The artstyle leaves it ambiguous because Asian artists usually don’t draw a facial details and the way they stylzed faces, look at the way a majority of Asian furry artist draw faces, they don’t draw snouts outside of the side profile.

I think if you take everything about her design she probably looks like this >>3778290 if you draw her with a more defined face instead of the more anime like noseless/snoutless look. The stellar blade x Nikke collab is a good example on how much artstyle can change a character’s look as Stellar Blade has a semi-realistic 3D style while Nikke is straight up moe and the studio who designed these characters worked on their transition to 3D and vice versa.
