>once you are in the body of Christ you are saved forever no matter what happens in the future.
>Hebrews 10:26-31
For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
The verses which you posted dont say that you are saved forever unconditionally
>Hebrews 9:12
speaks of his blood, what happens if you trample his blood and regard is unclean by sinning willingly?
>John 6:40
speaks of beliving in him, but your faith can be dead if you dont have the works to support it.
>Galatians 2:16
we indeed are not under the works of the law, we are under the works of Christ.
>Rom 5:8-9
>Romans 4:4-5
see my commentary of Hebrews 9:12, when you trample the blood through willful sin, you disgrace the sacrifice of Christ and shame him, making a mockery of him. You cannot sin while beliving in Christ. You must defeat sin. This is not to be confused for following the works of the law, having faith in Christ means to carry his cross and to triumph over sin.
a big issue of modern Christians is when they think that having faith is a free pass to sin to the fullest, when its not. you must eliminate all sin or your faith is good as dead
>Matthew 7:21
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
