That's a player insectoid in the middle. It has a nickname. Maybe that has something to do with the trainable megaspiders mentioned here >>527118968.

No way you can tame an insect queen. That would be hilarious.

I'm assuming this is the "AncientToxVent". Looks like you enter through a hole similar to the pit gate. Maybe there's a quest where you have to disable it, similar to the tox spewer. Also potentially a good place to farm insect queens if that's a thing.

On the far left you can see what looks like the new magic tree.
