Okay, so two hours later I can actually get it like 90% of the time, but only facing the left side for some reason.
I'm still at like 30% facing the right side, despite that being the side I practice on the most.
I don't get it, but I'm sorry for unleashing my salt on the "just practice bro" anons.
I was just salty. You can understand surely.
Here's Mai jiggle as an apology.

Charge characters are easy as hell. After enough playtime you get used to keeping charge anytime you're not actively doing something that requires you to drop it.
Even combos, once you have a combo route set-up that requires a charge move or two, you just become used to holding a direction after a certain point in the combo, it's not really much added difficulty to the combo.
I'd rather combo into a charge move than combo into a DP.
It's harder for me to go back to shotos after all this time on a charge character because I'm so used to anti-airing like I'm a modern player since I'm always keeping charge for up-kick.
Sagats can't use tiger knee against me because so long as I see the start up animation, I just have to stand up and press a button, basically.
