What's it called when someone errs more on the pessimistic side of things but still irrationally longs for some ideal to live for and devote myself to, as in taking on the challenge of life.
Like sure, the constant state of things is decay. Existence is a campaign between life and death, and life is losing. Surely it'd be better to put up a fight at least?
