I really don't understand what the fuck happened to society. I've always been up front and willing to forgive and apologize when appropriate.
But as technology improved, people just ghost or block you. Talked to a co-worker yesterday, her own sister left her on read. Insane.
It's like the values I've been raised with and adopted now count for nothing, and nobody bothered to tell me how things are done today. It's difficult to trust people because I don't know who's going behind my back.
Unfortunately I had a situation not too dissimilar to OP and people who I got along with did not respond. For fuck's sake I saw one of my brothers' exes out in public one time and still talked to her like a normal person, despite me obviously taking my brother's side on their dispute.
