You get to scope out levels and learn patrol routes. You can pop out of a corner and yank a guard and then pop him in the head with the pommel of your sword then skewer him with it while you whittle down the foes numbers little by little. Then find high ground and plink away at guys from afar and take them out with a single head shot with an arrow. It's a Conan like game in which you're a barbarian and you use more than just your brawn against foes, but your cunning as well. You can still throw yourself into the fray, and it can happen when guards blow their horns to alert others of you, but making it so that situation doesn't happen in the first place is satisfying. It's also fun to just swing your axe around and you see heads, torsos, and even legs fly off.

Try Mark of Kri. There are big benefits with doing stealth kills one shotting enemies and disabling enemies that alert others. You also have the ability to fight off enemies as well, but later on they become much more armored.
