Well, they show early on that one of the smarter Devil Hunters quitting the organization because he realized that she set them up. And Kishibe of course has caught onto her bullshit throughout P1.
She's still a Devil at the end of the day and they are always found to be a little lacking in their understanding of humans and their behavior.
In the end, Denji was about the only guy that she truly manipulated emotionally whereas in other cases (such as Aki), she needed to use her ability to manipulate them.
Denji was also the only person that really loved her, the rest were brain-washed into doing so.
So she's definitely kind of a tragic creature in that way, like a lot of Devils are.

Fujimoto probably has another good manga in him so hopefully he doesn't kill his career by pulling some retarded shit at the end.
Most mangakas hit their peak at a later age. Fujimoto at 31 or whatever has one of the most impressive track records despite his recent struggles.
If he learns his lessons I think he can still deliver good work in the future, every mangaka has had their hits and misses.
