Super Nintendo is difficult to get into because the fans are insufferable air players with massive egos and pretense about their library when compared to other 16-bit consoles. They make it tough to discover, discuss, and share games because everything out of their mouth is presumptuous and obstinate rather than useful or even interesting. They're mostly looking for fights and not genuine discussion. It's been tough for me to engage with this console even though I had it as a kid, I'm far more informed on Genesis and even PCE games. Beyond a few semi-obscure titles I'm familiar with, in person at shops I've mostly seen the most trash of shovelware or the most obvious of mainstream titles from Nintendo, Capcom and Konami.

The problem with the Capcom/Konami stuff is so much of it is better on the original arcade but it's hard to get that from a Super Nintendo guy who simply won't care.

Act Raiser 2 has been getting brought up more often lately, it lacks the novel simulation element of the first but doubles down on the action stages. The North American version is a classic example of pointless difficulty changes. It's a very unpleasant experience playing the US version - so you should instead play the far better balanced Japanese release. It's still a challenging game, but not horrendously broken. How many games are like this on Super? No idea, nobody talks about this.
