gg, don't feel too bad.
you made most of the beginner mistakes in the book.
remember that no matter what, go is a game about encircling territory. in the early game, i captured a lot of territory because you were attacking me and not connecting your stones.
it's easier to encircle corners rather than sides or center, so generally you should start at the corners and build from there to the sides and center. it's also a lot harder to attack corners than the middle because i only need to protect 2 sides. it's good to attack corners but you need flexibility to instead capture the side before continuing to attack corner.
here is a position from the game to understand what a good move is. any of the moves marked here are fine moves because all of them either extend your territory (purple) or reduce white (green).
at this point, white is much better already because white has already encircled like 30-40 points while black has encircled 0 points.
but there is still a game here despite this. i think you did well at the bottom, white got the better deal but atleast black got a solid wall to play from and he will surely get like 15 points from that in the future if nothing goes wrong.
