Depends on how much money you have. If you have the funds to have a gated compound with full security, you don't have to worry about anything. Cali is fun if you have the funds, don't have to work and it's not your main home. If you have to work, live and interact with people in Cali, you're going to have a bad time. The Gettys and Resnicks control the state picrel, so have fun dealing with that. There's a ticking time bomb of resource scarcity issues with water (caused by the dammed rivers see Deadbeat Dams) and energy. It has most of the cities with most polluted air in the US. The sherrif departments and city police forces are being taken over by different factions of Latino gangs. Now the Chinese factions are taking over areas with massages parlors that formerly were controlled by Bloods/Crips.
