Nah, we bitch about ledge being OP, a melee successor can have wildly different ledges as long as edge guards exist and are fun. IMO L cancel isn't necessary, but some interesting timing on hit on hurtbox vs hit on shield vs whiff. That's what makes L canceling interesting, that increased depth. Most of the other points are right though

There are no silver bullets in melee, everything has counterplay (except chain grabs which are functionally identical to wobbling but legal) but the counterplay requiring so much more effort is why people consider him dishonest. His low level is like sheik's mid level, it just sucks to play against
