Hey there, congrats on getting your first optic.
MOA is minute of angle, which basically equates to a group within 1 square inch at 100 yards. Most targets like yours pictured have those 1x1" grid lines. For example, if your best group at 100 yards falls within 2x2" area, then you can consider your rifle to be 2 MOA. MOA is scalable, so lets say your 2 MOA rifle groups in 1" groups at 50 yards, or 4" groups at 200 yards, that doesn't make your rifle 1MOA at 50 or 4MOA at 200.

Now as far as your scope adjustments, its probable that each turret click is 1MOA, but you should check with your handbook, some scopes have their adjustments in mils.
