1. using the disk space neocities gives you to host your images there instead of on catbox so that it doesn't brick itself whenever catbox decides to go down
2. using the glorious .avif format instead of .pngs so my german internet doesn't take 10 seconds to load the background images (and longer the more cards you add to it)
