My assistant prefill is \n\n and I end my user messages with /nothink on a new line. Might still not fit the format exactly, but it works well enough for me like that with temp at 0.6 and the other settings at default. If you want edto make extra sure, you'd have to look in /lmg/ for the exact template for text comp, it was posted recently.
Avoid using a quant below 4 bits. If you're going for longer contexts, giving it a summary of what it's supposed to do and who the characters are directly before the prefill may help.

Finally made one, my rentry's layout keeps breaking more and more with each card I add and having to load all those images at the same time is admittedly pretty cancer. Plus, you can finally read the defs and greets beforehand! So, yuristatus is on neocities now. Mobile support never ever. I don't know what I'm doing. I'm more talking in a general sense. But, still. I remember when the "7 downloads" thing was literally half the threads.

I used to run sillyTavern extra w/ Cuda to use vectorization of old chats, I'd export them and strip out all formatting to simply leave the narrative text and nothing more! Vectorize them and have "relevant" portions into the RP. This was meant for my "Long-form" narratives that spanned over multiple chats (As I don't like doing RP much past 30-50k), I was content with it and found this to work decently enough.

But it's been a while now since I've done it and I see SillyTavern has a lot of different options. Is there anyone who has experimented with this and some thoughts? I assume Local option just uses CPU which takes time.. I'd like to avoid setting up Extras if I can, but if I have to I'd like to use a custom model rather then Extras default.

has the anon that does the TTRPG adaptations ever detailed his process? is it just slamming those lorebook entries manually? i find the ST interface for them kind of cumbersome for making large scale entries. been thinking of doing Final Fantasy d20 and Star Wars: The RPG (which is also d20) obviously i wouldn't use all the D&D books but i'd need to adapt spells/Force and equipment and stuff like that.

i had a pretty good experience doing a run as a Warcraft character in that setting just using the 3.5e player's handbook and a character sheet adapted for Warcraft (same feats/spells just renamed for Warcraft flavor) but i imagine for settings very different from D&D like FF and SW i'd need a more robust lorebook for support

What you think you wrote and what the mode thinks you wrote are often two completely different things, and you only realize that in testing. You can sometimes see where botmakies ran up against the model with certain traits or mechanics if you read defs often.
