I just can't see that happening, in spite of other indicators. Thanks to social media everybody can *see* how shit things are getting, nobody is driven to patriotic fervor when their neighborhood is unrecognizable, cost of living has made basic life a miserable struggle and the entire political class asking you to go and die is on the Epstein client list but asking you to raincheck them for a reward they promise you *after* you go and fight in their stupid war.
Everybody makes the joke in the USA about "oh white men are in the military ads now! know what that means!" but after 6 months it's become clear that Trump is totally full of it and not even remotely delivering on the promises he made to his constituents. Elites won't hold up their end of the social bargain, but are expecting non-elites to hold up theirs, we know it can't continue forever, but for now it continues on all the same.
