Wow, game two went the distance.
An hour and forty five minutes later, the Japs declared a masterful victory over the mainland yellows, 101 vp to 52.
Triggered game end 3 ways to Sunday, depleting the Market deck for initial trigger, while final round saw Qin also claim King of Kings and I developed the final card in my development deck.
The Japanese develop a disgusting board with tons of pinned cards, exhaust triggers off of plays you already want tondo, and great abilities to profit off of said board state.
The Qin bot was fairly peaceful, acquired a ton and amassed a large population. Never achieved an Empire, and by late game once when regions were gone, it cycled through playing Regions (unable to acquire more), attack cards (forcing me to lose regions at the cost of giving up its own) and Glory (usually not having enough region in play to obtain Fame cards).
Final impression of Imperiums solo mode: very nice! Resolving the bot was a breeze, so my attention stayed focus on piloting my own deck.

My understanding was the errors were mostly in the bot flowcharts in the solo rulebooks. I played with the Horizons bot cards that are all up to date, and so dont suffer from their dumb printing errors. If you teach people, it shouldnt habe an impact.
That said, in general, man that Legends/Classics rulebook is BAD. Not an all time stinker, but jarring flow, unclear terminology, and central keywords buried at the back. Even horizons has key details like how you obtain new cards left on PAGE THIRTY SIX.
