Stoneheart is a great example of George dropping the ball on a character, he shows the Brotherhood turning a darker note on Ep POV in ASOS, and then basically ignores them until the very last chapter of Brienne.
He had Brienne bubbling about like a retard for 8 long ass chapters instead of writing Brienne alongside the new Brotherhood rekting shit and being evil. It would've been such a good POV to contrast Arya with Brotherhood.
Stoneheart is a big nothingburger character.
