>Women’s pro wrestling group “Marigold”’s MIRAI announced at the 9/20 Shinkiba event that she will be leaving the promotion after the 10/13 Korakuen show.

>Since the group’s launch in May of last year, MIRAI has been active both in and out of the ring, but she struggled on the singles front, unable to secure belts or titles. She challenged for the World Championship in May (champion: Hayashishita Utami) but was defeated, and even with “strong resolve” heading into the singles league “DREAM STAR GP2025,” she was eliminated from her block before the final match. Following her 9/14 Korakuen match, MIRAI tearfully said, “I want to face myself one more time.”

>A week later, MIRAI explained, “There are things I’ve wanted to do but haven’t, things I’ve wanted but gave up on… I started to feel maybe I could make them come true again. I thought maybe it’s okay to have some time away from Ogawa-san and experience pro wrestling on my own. I also wonder how far I can go myself. So, MIRAI will leave Ogawa-san’s side. I will leave Marigold.”
