No but there have been a few cases where you can, in that one I just went "eh, it's probably like this" and was disappointed when it was right. Looks like that is quickly becoming a non-factor though, these last few have been tricky.

Exactly. Did the same thing with a few of the levels in Snakebird, moved on instinct and ended up making progress in the puzzle without fully understanding how. Seems to be more of a problem in "process" based puzzlers which require making moves in sequence. Recursed was really good in this regard, because if you don't act deliberately you end up trapped in a loop or softlocked.
