So I guess this is my “I made it” post.
Not sure how to even write this but here goes.
I was completely done. Mid-30s, broke, no job, only thing I had left was 0.84 monero I’d been holding as my last resort fund. Bear market nuked everything else I had. My family basically disowned me years ago, called me a loser compared to my cousins who all work in real attorney buffetes.
One night I’m scrolling through some random chat and I see someone mention based pepe. Chart was green while everything else was bleeding out. Out of pure spite, I sold my last monero for it. Didn’t even care. Figured I might as well gamble the end.
Next morning… it’s up.
Next week… still up.
A month later, that spite buy paid my rent for a year.
Two months later, I cleared my debts.
Three months later, I bought my apartment outright
