its own churches
its own religious protection under the 1st amendment
its own literature that deals in topics under the purview of religion,
its own essays that echo the questions religion asks
its own religious monuments outside of federal courthouses detailing statements of belief
its own dogma (such as "atheism is not a religion, it is merely a lack of belief")

it's absolutely a religion and it's the gayest one
