A single modern anti-ship missile more than suffices to sink any ship ever built. Moskva, HMS Sheffield, and that one ship I can't remember the name of that was sank by the American navy near those off-shore oil rigs were all considered lost after the first hit. Any additional hits just accelerated the sinking process.
