man and woman in a multistorey building, which is old, from 1970s, were terrified last night when the doorbell kept ringing after "hours of silence" at 21:00 onwards

the neighborhood called the police who checked up the premises and tried to find unwelcomed guests around the building complex immediate area

nobody was even near it

finally someone actually checked the doorbell system: there was a snail in it!

snail had left a trail of slime over the buttons, slime short circuited the whole button box and it kept randomly ringing people

electrician came there (because only he has the permits) opened the box with a screwdriver, wiped out slime and everything worked again

of course the snail was also carried some 80 meters away from the building to the nearest green bushes
