people who tend to like darktide are 40k fans, and 40k fans are notorious for ONLY liking 40k and wont try anything else, so they wont play VT2, DRG, L4D2 etc despite those games being WAY better
they're not fans of co-op games, they're fans of 40k games, regardless of it's quality (unless of course its an RTS or CRPG because they're not shooters)
