Disney prides themselves on being as family friendly and safe as possible, that’s been their whole identity for like a century now. Even modern DisneyTVA shows have this safe energy to them. Its funny cause people acted like Gravity Falls and The Owl House were pushing new boundaries when in reality they were safe edgy as shit and didn’t do shit to further animation as a medium, the content in them pales in comparison compared to what shows like Courage, Flapjack, and Invader Zim were showing on TV a decade or two prior.
