The game is total fucking trash though. I know nobody on /tg/ plays games and Trench Crusade fans pretend to exist so they can jelq over the art, but the actual gameplay of this piece of shit such rancid crap that I'm almost surprised it isn't mentioned more often.
Imagine if every unit, from your massive demon to your normal dude, had a 1/6th minimum chance of instant death from any attack whatsoever, be it a knife or a frag grenade. Or the fact that the balance is totally beyond the pale and littered with trap options. Or the nonsensical swingy dice pool engine that lacks any granularity whatsoever. Or the joke of a terrain placement rule that we just had to largely ignore so the table could actually retain some semblence of visual interest.
Any virtues of this game beyond the art are wholly generic. Probably the worst table miniature game I've ever tried sans AoS spearheads. I welcome the admittedly terrible political shit since it potentially saves otherwise interested people with good aesthetic taste their money.
