IIRC they said it's 1:350, so in-scale with G-Sight miniatures rather than the 1:400 Gundam Collection (of which I have a shitload). If you want to pre-load, G-sight models are still out there on the net and pretty cheap despite being nasty vinyl.

The 1/400 Collection stuff is all at least a bit posable, problem is it's all rubber. They did special versions of the Zaku, Gundam, and GM (among others) with balljoints for the DX series.
The Strategy of Gundam and G-sight models are a bit more posable. G-sight is the same nominal scale as the new game. Eyeballing them against 40mm bases, though, I'm not so sure.
