i found the jumps and tricks and their boosts to be too short to be useful at all. while you go faster for a short time the speed bleeds off so fast it seems you're almost better spamming the drift boost
the ai is not really intelligent or competitive enough to worry about even on the highest difficulty, i easily overtake them within two laps on every track.
i don't like the button spam, the jump and trick button should be the same thing. it's annoying having to do some kind of gay button roll+watch a meter
landing the trick wrong should spear you off in whatever direction you landed in forcing you to drift out of it
also i just kind of dislike the mariokartness of it
