All the fastest and race-winningiest cars always look like an hourglass shaped woman from above. All narrow waist and big fenders and biiiig quarter panels to carry those thick, meaty tires and keep the wheelbase wide. The faster you go, the more obvious that shape gets, culminating in open-wheel race cars that are essentially nothing but a spine with shoulders and hips, a mathematically perfect dieses shape (‡). The fastest purpose-built dragsters and land speed cars even go further and tuck the outsides in as far as possible, for that 1970's Twiggy build.
The exception is closed body prototypes, like old Group C race cars or most modern prototypes. With those, the body might spread out, but stays wide to match the wheels, and a big, round cockpit right in the middle. As such, I posit that in the world of car fuckers, if it exists, then LMP race car fuckers are the BBW chasers of the world.
