This is my first time posting on here, I'm 6 ft and 177 lb, down from 220 lb.

I've never really worked out. I've just been eating better the past year.

I just signed up with a gym, and I've been going consistently for the past 7 days, what should I do?

I spoke to a trainer there and he said that I should make a training program focusing on certain body parts and right now I should focus on doing like three to four sets of medium weight.
