The meme comes from the fact that everything takes a lot of time in AK so people (retards) see the resulting tediousness as "proof of gameplay". If a game is too straightfoward (good design), then basically it has no gameplay according to /akg/. Like take Quake or CS for example. Those have no gameplay compared to more bloated modern looter-builder-shooters-extractors like Fortnite & co.
