I noticed that most of the supposed editor's suggestions are focused on making Ainz do something or making something actually happen in the story.

The whole "MC is evil, for real guys! Look, he is actually doing evil things!" is all part of the Maruyama's desire to be subversive.
He clearly doesn't have the skill to pull it off tho. Might as well write a more typical story like that Evileye volume.
